Screenwriter Eric James has always had a fascination with adventure tales that cross genres, incorporating elements of a science fiction, fantasy and drama into the action.

He is producing two action-adventure series for television for NBC. One of the projects, When Worlds Collide, follows a retired female undercover agent whose son is kidnapped forcing her back into action. The CIA, KGB, MI6, and Chinese are in need of her services and the hunt for her is on.
While attending Full Sail University, where he earned his B.F.A. in Creative Writing for Entertainment, he became interested in Transmedia storytelling and the social interaction that allows him to navigate the network exposing his narratives across a broad scope of platforms.

Always thinking forward, Eric’s stories integrate his research of changing technologies from science, medicine, and space into the action-packed storylines.

The newest project he has in development is Microscopic Sight, a futuristic medical adventure that features a young orphan with an IQ of 195 and a rare eye disease that allows him to see each person’s physical impairments.

The Chinese and FBI seek to capture him for study, but he stays just ahead of them while on a quest to find his birth mother.
When not writing, James is a single father to four amazing kids who remind him who tomorrow’s audience is going to be!
